My Best Friend

Happy was the day we met
How lucky I was you see
To find a friend so wonderful
As you have been to me.

I could look the whole world over
Search the universe far and wide
But life just wouldn't be the same
If you weren't by my side.

We have shared so much together
Some good things and some sad
But this I know is very true
Your the best friend I ever had.

Days may come and days may go
Whatever will be, will be
But I want you to know just how I feel
