On Thanksgiving we
all look forward
To the
gathering of family at our table
There
is so much food set around the turkey
We eat
a little of everything if we're able
It's a
special day and as my family arrives
I get
a feeling of happiness and love
I'm so
thankful for this family of mine
I take
a moment to give thanks to my Savior above
I sit
and I listen to the family express
The
wonderful things in their lives.
The
children are laughing and playing outside
And I
am thanking God they all safely arrived.
I
think of those not as fortunate as I
Those
with no shelter, food or family
They're alone on this day, feeling cold and sad
I pray
God is with them as He is with me.
